Abstract

Comparative Analysis of Production and Income of Rubber Farmers with UPPO and Non-UPPO Programs in Hot Water Village, Pendalian IV Koto District, Rokan Hulu Regency, Riau Province. Supervised by Mr. Khairizal, SP., M.MA Farmers in rubber farming are not only to get production but also to increase income and be economically feasible so as to improve farmer welfare. This study aims to analyze the characteristics of rubber farmers with UPPO and non-UPPO programs, use of input production facilities and labor, analyze rubber farming and analyze the comparison of production and income of rubber farmers with UPPO and non-UPPO programs. This research was conducted in Hot Water Village for 6 months from June to December 2020 with research activities starting from preparation, making proposals, data collection, data tabulation, data analysis to compilation of report results. The data used are primary data and secondary data with a farm management approach. The results showed that the age of rubber farmers was classified as productive age with an average of 45 years, with an average education level of junior high school, farming experience an average of 16 years and an average family dependents of 4 people. Rubber farming activities include land maintenance, fertilization, tapping and collection. The production costs incurred by farmers with the UPPO and non-UPPO programs an average of Rp. 16,431,817 / year and Rp. 10,137,533 / year, with an average UPPO and non-UPPO rubber production of 3,846 kg / year and 2,712 kg / year of an average land area of 1.5 ha. The selling price of rubber latex with an average tender system is Rp. 9000 / kg. The average gross income of UPPO and non-UPPO farmers is Rp. 34,614,000 / year and Rp. 24,408,000 / year, the average net income of UPPO and non UPPO farmers is Rp. 18,182,184 / year and Rp. 14,270,467 / year. The average RCR values are 2.15 and 2.40. The t sig value was 0.030 <0.05 and t sig 0.001 <0.05, which means that there was no significant difference in the production and income of rubber farmers with the UPPO and non-UPPO programs.
