Abstract

Tourism development is an effort to develop or advance tourist objects so that these attractions are better and more attractive in terms of places and objects in them to be able to attract tourists to visit them. For tourism objects located in Lingga Regency, Singkep sub-district, one of them is Batu Ampar Waterfall Tourism Object, which is managed by the Lingga Regency Youth and Sports Tourism Office. because of every tourist object in Lingga district, Batu Ampar is a tourist attraction that is lacking in terms of security facilities, therefore researchers are interested in raising this phenomenon to become a study. Because the Regency Regional Regulation Number 13 of 2011 concerning the Implementation of Tourism is sorted out based on chapter by chapter and article by article, as a sample of implementation material from Chapter VI Regarding obligations in article 29 of which refers to this problem in the section In organizing tourism local governments are obliged to: Provide information on Tourism, Legal Protection, Security, Comfort, and safety of tourists. And it is hoped that in the future the local government will build several additional facilities such as the problem of tourist objects adjacent to the ravine so that a guardrail is built next to the ravine so that no tourists fall and further enhance the security of the tourist attraction. The Head of the Lingga Regency Tourism Office, and Informants, namely the Head of Facilities and Infrastructure and Tourism Services Business, Tourists, and the community, who are considered the most competent and know the problems to be studied and are able to provide information that can be developed to obtain data. Based on the results of research, the local government and the community have worked together and are still in the process of building a tourist attraction that meets the requirements for the provision of tourism management, which is directly carried out by the Batu Ampar community, who is more aware of the structure of the geographical area by collaborating with the local government.
