Abstract
This study aims to determine the Effect of Discipline on the Performance of Employees of the Ministry of Religion of the City of Pekanbaru, the problem is known that the work of employees at the Ministry of Religion Office in Pekanbaru, that some employees work with discipline that is still low, but there are still some employees who use work time to unproductive things and leave the office for his personal interests. This condition shows the low level of work discipline which ultimately affects the achievement of overall work. This research is descriptive analysis used to get an overview of each variable and examine the influence of these variables, while quantitative research methods. The sample in this study were employees of the Ministry of Religion of Pekanbaru City, amounting to 45 (fifty) people, Respondents' answers used questionnaires with rating scale techniques through measurements on ordinal or tiered scales. The data analysis technique used is the statistical test design of the data collected then testing using path analysis (Path analysis). In general, the results of research that answer the research questions related to Discipline Influence in the Ministry of Religion Office of Pekanbaru City can be seen from the results of respondents about employee discipline, the overall results of the disciplinary indicators fall into the category of "Good". As for the Performance of Employees of the Ministry of Religion of the City of Pekanbaru seen from the results of responses of respondents The overall results of the performance indicators fall into the category of "Good". This can also be seen from the data obtained that the tasks carried out are right at the appointed time. The conclusion of this study is the influence of Discipline on performance using simple linear regression obtained coefficient of efficiency The results of the calculation show that the Work discipline variable has a significant influence on performance variables, so the hypothesis that work discipline has a significant effect on the performance of Pekanbaru Ministry of Religion that employee performance will increase if work discipline increases.
