Abstract
The purpose of this study was to analyze and describe the implementation of Social Rehabilitation for Naughty Children and to analyze and describe the inhibiting factors for the implementation of Social Rehabilitation for Naughty Children at UPT PSMP Tengku Yuk Social Service of Riau Province. This type of research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. Types and sources of data used are primary data and secondary data, while data collection was carried out using interview, observation and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique used is qualitative analysis. The results of this study concluded that the Social Rehabilitation of Naughty Children at the UPT PSMP Tengku Yuk Riau Province Social Service was carried out in the form of activities which included motivation and psychosocial diagnosis, care and nurturing, vocational training and entrepreneurial development, mental spiritual guidance, physical guidance, social guidance and counseling. psychosocial, accessibility services, social assistance and assistance, resocialization guidance, follow-up guidance, and referrals. In general, the rehabilitation activities carried out are quite good and can restore social functioning and develop the abilities of the assisted students to be able to live their lives naturally. As for the inhibiting factors in the implementation of Social Rehabilitation of Naughty Children at the UPT PSMP Tengku Yuk of the Riau Province Social Service are the lack of completeness and availability of facilities and infrastructure needed to support coaching activities, such as social workers, books / literature, and practical / workshop facilities. as well as the lack of skills and discipline of social workers towards their duties. Therefore, in the future the Head of UPT should strive to be able to improve the completeness and availability of facilities and infrastructure needed to support coaching activities in social institutions, such as social workers, books/ literature, and practical / workshop facilities. Social workers should always try to improve services to assisted students and carry out their duties according to the schedule determined by the social institution; and Fostered Students should always follow every stage of coaching activities held in social institutions with seriousness and discipline in accordance with the prevailing rules and regulations.
