Abstract
This research was motivated by some students were lack of creativity when facing long distance learning, some of students were lack of understanding the material because of online learning, some of students were lack of motivation to study, some of students were bored with task and learning. The purpose in this research examined to know the strategy from Islamic education teacher in developing students’ creativity in long distance learning at elementary school 190 pekanbaru with informant (mention how many teacher that you know) and it became sample. In data collection, researcher used interview and documentation. Data computation technique used data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusion and verification. Based on data analysis from Islamic education teacher, it could be concluded that teachers’ strategy in developing students’ creativity in long distance learning. The effort done by teacher at elementary school 190 that was using WhatsApp group media, video call, google meet and material with light language and giving motivation to students to creative even in long distance learning, giving motivation to students to brave and did not afraid to fail and keep try to do new things.
