Abstract
This study aims to develop diversity-based teaching materials for fifth grade students. These teaching materials are expected to strengthen the sense of diversity in students in accordance with multicultural residences. This research method uses development research with a 4D development model. This research uses three stages. (1) Define stage, which is an analysis of the needs of teaching materials, student needs, learning environment, and curriculum, (2) the design stage is to design products according to needs. (3) the development stage is the validity test. The results of this study indicate that the expert's assessment of teaching materials is a very feasible category with a percentage of 93.57%. The linguist's assessment of teaching materials is a very feasible category with a percentage of 93.58%. The assessment of this teaching material design expert is a very feasible category with a percentage of 98%. Overall validation from material experts, linguists, and design experts is an average of 95.5% with very feasible criteria.
