Abstract

This research is of course based on the background put forward related to development programs, to find out the extent of the process of implementing tasks in the development program by the Community Empowerment Institution, in Meranti Pandak Village, Pekanbaru City, where in this study there are problems or indications, namely: 1. Lack of socialization to the public regarding the development that has been planned so that there are still many people who do not understand the benefits of the development being carried out. 2. There is still frequent occurrence of annual flooding due to heavy rainfall due to the absence of adequate ditches. 3. There is still a lack of control and maintenance of infrastructure so that damages such as road damage and loss of street lights are caused by irresponsible persons, in this study to determine the purpose, whether the implementation of tasks by LPM in Meranti Pandak Village, Pekanbaru City was successful , related to what obstacles are needed and also what groups get development programs related to the implementation of tasks by the LPM itself. Furthermore, the type of research that researchers use is descriptive type research with qualitative methods. Because this study analyzes the implementation of the tasks of the Community Empowerment Institution related to development in Meranti Pandak Village. The techniques used to collect data in this study are interviews, observations, and also documentation by including the results of data analysis obtained and different techniques from several sources and the results of the conclusions. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that all indicators related to the implementation of LPM duties in their implementation are less efficient and effective.
