Abstract

This study aims to determine a description of the level of organizational citizenship behavior of employees of the Abdurrab University of Pekanbaru. The population sample used was 35 respondents with qualitative mothods, validity, reliability and descriptive tests. The results of this study indicate that overall organizational citizenship behavior of the employees of the pekanbaru Abdurrab University is in the good category. This can be seen from each dimensions of altruism, courtesy, conscientiousness, civic virtue and sportsmanship it can be seen that the results are good. This means that if it is based on gender it is found that male employees behave OCB more than women. Seen in each of the dimensions of the OCB, it appears that male employees have abetter rate on these five dimensions than women. In terms of age, employees aged 31-40 years have better OCB behavior than employees aged 21-30 years. In each of the dimensions of the OCB, the employees aged 21-30 years old have altruism, courtesy and spormanship, while civic and conscientiousness are owned by employees aged 31-40 years.
