Abstract

(2020): Contribution of Leg Muscle Strength and Foot Coordination to Football Shooting Ability in Athlete Ps Uir Pekanbaru The purpose of this study was to see the contribution of muscle strength and eye and leg coordination to the ability to shoot soccer in Pekanbaru PS UIR athletes. The population and sample in this study were 20 athletes at PS UIR Pekanbaru. Withdrawal of samples using total sampling. Analysis of the data obtained by using multiple services, X1 to Y obtained a count value = 0.500> r table = 0.444 with a value of KD = 25%, X2 to Y obtained a count value = 0.470> r table = 0.444 with a KD value of 22% and X1, X2 to Y obtained r count 0, 590> 0.444 with a KD value of 34%, at n 20 is 0.444. Based on data analysis and this study, it can be derived from the contribution of leg muscle strength and ankle coordination to the ability to shoot soccer in Pekanbaru PS UIR athletes by 34%.
