Abstract

This study study aims to determine and analyze the Mangrove Eco Tourism Management Strategy in Sungai Rawa Village, Sungai Apit District by the Siak Regency Tourism Office. The assessment indicators used include tourist attractions, accessibility, amenities, public facilities, and institutions. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive survey, which prioritizes the questionnaire list as a data collection tool. The population and sample in this study amounted to 32 people. Types and data collection techniques used consisted of primary data collected using questionnaires and interviews and secondary data collected using observation techniques. While the data analysis technique used is to use the frequency table tool. Based on this analysis technique, the researcher assessed and concluded that the Mangrove Eco Tourism Management Strategy in Sungai Rawa Village, Sungai Apit District by the Siak Regency Tourism Office was categorized as quite good. The inhibiting factor is the lack of attention and support from the Government, so that the Rawa River Mangrove Tourism Eco Tourism is not well managed, renewals and improvements have never been carried out, resulting in not many visitors. Then there is a lack of budget and no more sponsors to support the Rawa River Mangrove Tourism Eco. In addition, the Sungai Rawa Village Government also cares less about and contributes less to the eco tourism of swamp river mangroves, so that the local community is unable to do much for the advancement of swamp river mangrove eco tourism.
