Abstract

The problem in this study is that the players are still not optimal, especially in agility, the players cannot pass the opponent and avoid this opponent when they do dribble, then other factors that affect football dribbling are speed, the player is not fast enough when dribbling the ball so that it can be chased by the opponent. and the ball can be grabbed, the coordination of footwork is less than optimal where when dribbling the ball is often released due to bad foot contact. This study was to determine the Contribution of Agility and Speed to the Football Dribble of DKI FC Tapung Club Players in Kampar Regency. This type of research is correlational research with data processing techniques using agility tests, running speed of 40 meters and football dribbles. Furthermore, the data analysis techniques obtained were analyzed with simple product moment correlation. The population in this study were players of the club DKI FC Tapung, Kampar Regency, amounting to 19 people. The research sample used total sampling technique, meaning that the entire population was sampled. So that the number of samples in this study were 19 sons. Based on the data analysis, the correlation between the agility and the dribble of football is 35.14%, the correlation between the 40 meter running speed and the football is 26.33% and the contribution of the agility and the 40 meter running speed to the football dribble is 41.24%.
