Abstract

The Existence Of The Malay Ghazal Sang Nila Utama Music Group In Pekanbaru City, Riau Province This study aims to describe The Existence Of The Malay Ghazal Sang Nila Utama Music Group In Pekanbaru City, Riau Province. The focus of this study is the problems associated with The Existence Of The Malay Ghazal Sang Nila Utama Music Group In Pekanbaru City, Riau Province. The formulation of the problem in this study is How is The Existence Of The Malay Ghazal Sang Nila Utama Music Group In Pekanbaru City, Riau Province. The purpose of this study was to determine The Existence Of The Malay Ghazal Sang Nila Utama Music Group In Pekanbaru City, Riau Province. The subjects of this study were Mr. Raja Yoserizal Zen, Mr. Arman Rambah, Mr. Zuarman Ahmad, Mr. Jang Farizal, Mr. Matrock and Mr. Rino Dezapaty. The method used in this research is a qualitative study using descriptive qualitative analysis methods by approaching the object under study. Sources of data in this study consisted of primary data sources and secondary data sources. Data obtained through: 1) interview; 2) observation; and 3) documentation. The conclusion of this research to illustrates that The Existence Of The Malay Ghazal Sang Nila Utama Music Group In Pekanbaru City, Riau Province, still around today but the direction of it’s development is experiencing decadence. Ghazal is a Malay art that is full of values and aesthetics in itself. The art of Malay Ghazal music is said to be ancient and rare, especially in the people of Pekanbaru city, Riau province . Great appreciation to The Ghazal Sang Nila Utama group who have revived and maintained the Ghazal art in Pekanbaru city, Riau Province.
