Abstract

Now a days, motorcycle is one of important transportation in our society. Especially for Lubuk Alung's society, motorcycle not only important for resident but also for tourists. But, as a rider they have to obey to the rules. As a good rider, the riders should have some document such as driving license, vehicle document and good habit. By those reason, the researcher decide to research how Lubuk Alung's society in driving motorcycle is. The purpose of this research is to determine the behavior of motorbike users and how much their level of awareness in prioritizing traffic safety. The benefit is to provide knowledge about motorbike riding behavior and as a guide for law enforcers to follow up on riders who violate the road. Researcher give questioner to 100 respondents, there are 28 questions that divided into two variables; Vehicle Document and Habits of Driver. The answer from the correspondence is processed by IBM SPSS Statistic and Microsoft Excel to get the validity and reliability. After that, the result analyze by mean frequent. The result shows that the data is valid, because all validity results show r count is greater than r table. From this research, researcher gets there are variations habit from the riders. The conclusion of the research is most of LubukAlung's Societies have good habit in riding motorcycle. With the highest coefficient value of 0.527, that is, I always turn on the headlights when riding a motorcycle during the day.
