Abstract

The purpose of this study was (1) to determine the contribution of Agility to Dribbling Skills Ability in Students of UIR Soccer School U17 Pekanbaru . (2) to find out the contribution of Running Speed to Dribbling Skills Ability in Students of UIR Soccer School U17 Pekanbaru. (3) to determine the contribution of Agility and Running Speed to Dribbling Skills Ability in Students of UIR Soccer School U17 Pekanbaru. This type of research is correlation. The population in this study were Students UIR Soccer School U17 totaling 20 people. The sampling technique used was total sampling so that the number of samples in this study were 20 people. The test instruments used were dogging run, 50-meter running test and dribbling test. The data analysis technique used is the r test. Based on the results of the calculation, it can be seen that (1) There is a contribution of agility to dribbling skill ability in students of UIR Soccer School U17 Pekanbaru with a calculated value of 0.589 with a contribution value of 34,72%. (2) There is a contribution of running speed to dribbling akill ability in students of UIR Soccer School U17 Pekanbaru with a calculated value = 0.580 with a contribution value of 31,38%. (3) There is a contribution of agility and eye and running speed to the ability of dribbling skill ability in students of UIR Soccer School U17 Pekanbaru with a calculated value = 0.813 or with a contribution value of 66,19%.
