Abstract

In order to achieve public services in the field of administration, the government issues policies that are compressive and apply nationally. In this case, the Government Regulation (PP) of the Republic of Indonesia Number 37 of 2007 concerning the implementation of Law Number 23 of 2006 concerning population administration was issued, which in principle guarantees population administration and its services in order to achieve effectiveness and efficiency. The Village Head is authorized to administer Village Administration. Village Administration is carried out in the context of: governance, implementation of development, community development, and community empowerment. Simalinyang Village is one of the villages located in Kampar Kiri Tengah District, Kampar Regency, the population has increased every year. Likewise with the number of people who are not registered as residents in Simaliyang Village. This shows that the quality of the village government in the administration of population administration in Simalinyang Village is not yet fully optimal. The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of the Simalinyang Village Government in the administration of population administration in Simalinyang Village, Kampar Kiri Tengah District, Kampar Regency. In this study, researchers used qualitative research methods to describe the opinions of informants.
