Abstract
The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of leg muscle power training on the football shooting ability of SSB Excellent FC students in Kabupaten Rokan Hulu. The type of this research is correlation. The population and sample in this study were students of SSB Excellent FC Kabupaten Rokan Hulu, totaling 16 people. The research instrument used was the pre-test and the post-test shooting football. The data analysis technique used is the t test. Based on the results of the research as evidenced by data analysis using the T test technique, it can be concluded that there is an effect of leg muscle power training on the shooting ability of SSB Excellent FC students in Kabupaten Rokan Hulu by 13%. With a comparison of the value of t count ≥ t table or 3.90 ≥ 2.12. and the remaining 87% is influenced by other factors.
