Abstract

This research entitled "Minang Dance Development in Sanggar Limpapeh Rumah Nan Gadang, Pangkalan Kerinci District, Pelalawan Regency". This study aims to determine how the Minang Dance Coaching in Sanggar Limpapeh Rumah Nan Gadang, Pangkalan Kerinci District, Pelalawan Regency. The research method used in this research is to use descriptive analysis using qualitative data. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. This study uses data analysis techniques. The implementation uses specific findings and general findings. While the results of research at the Rumah Nan Gadang Limpapeh Studio were the maintenance of the Minang dance art by carrying out existing programs at the Limpapeh Studio, saving the Minang dance from extinction by applying dance regeneration, processing the basic movements of the Minang dance with renewal without losing aesthetics, Minang dance customs and adab, Providing guidance by guiding what are the techniques in dancing the Minang dance, Direction to achieve the vision and mission of the goals to be achieved in dancing the Minang dance, Research or search for the art of Minangkabau, youtube videos or recordings, Excavation of the Minang dance through references -Journal reference, Improving the quality of students who already have progress in dancing the Minang dance.
