Abstract

One of the challenges that college students must face is writing an undergraduate thesis. They are often experience many difficulties in writing undergraduate thesis due to the continuous revision process, the lack of conduciveness of the online guidance process, decreased motivation to compile, deadlines that must be pursued in order to graduate on time, the increasing level of stress due to the obligation to pay tuition bill remains the same. These problems caused pressures resulting in stress, frustration, loss of motivation and procrastination undergraduate thesis. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between patience with mental health among college students’ in completing undergraduate thesis. The study sample was 116 college students’ by using convenience sampling. Data collection used mental health scales and patience scales, the data obtained were analyzed used Pearson product moment correlation analysis. Based on the results of the research, it is obtained r value of 0,317 and significant 0,001 means there is positive relationship between patience with mental health among college students’ in completing undergraduate thesis. The higher of their patience will be increasing their mental health in completing undergraduate thesis. Conversely, the lower of their patience will be decreasing their mental health in completing undergraduate thesis. Meanwhile, the contribution of patience with mental health students’ in completing undergraduate thesis percentage by 10%.
