Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the level of effectiveness of physical education online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic in Class VIII students of SMP Negeri 13 Pekanbaru. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research to describe the effectiveness of online learning using online media during the Covid-19 pandemic in physical education subjects with a population of 181 people. The data in this research is a total sampling technique. The sample in this study was the entire population, so the sample was 181 people. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire. Then the data is processed statistically, with the relative percentage formula. The hypothesis put forward is how the effectiveness of online learning in physical education subjects during the Covid-19 pandemic for VIII grade students at SMP Negeri 13 Pekanbaru. Based on the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that online learning has the effectiveness of physical education subjects during the Covid-19 pandemic for grade VIII students at SMP Negeri 13 Pekanbaru. Where there is a percentage of 59,01%.
