Abstract
on employee commitment at PT. Yamaha Alfa Scorpio Pekanbaru. The population in this study are all employees who work at this company. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling, meaning that the sample was taken based on the aims and considerations of the 35 researchers. Data collection techniques in this study using questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique in this study used descriptive analysis and SPSS 26. In testing the coefficient of determination (R2) the magnitude of the influence of competence on commitment was 80%. Based on the results of this study indicate that competence has a positive and significant effect on employee commitment at PT. Yamaha Alfa Scorpii Pekanbaru Key Word: Competence, Employee Commitment
