Abstract

ABSTRACT Corporate Social Responbility (CSR) is a companys response to teh community environment. CSR is related to social responbility, social welfare and management of people’s quality of life. In this case, industry and corporations play a role in promoting a healty economy by considering environmental. The main problem raised is how the implementation of corporate social responbility in Tandun District, Rokan Hulu Regency based on Law Number 40 of 2007 concerning Limited Liability Companies. What are the obstacles in the implementation of corporate social responbility in Tandun District, Rokan Hulu Regency based on Law Number 40 of 2007 concerning Limited Liability Companies. As for this research is a sociological legal research so that the results of this research are descriptive analysis that wants to see the correlation of public opinion about corporate responbility. The results showed that the implementation of corporate responbility did not go well. And the inhibiting factors are because many companies experience conflicts of interest, unstable political and economic situation and weak law enforcement.
