Abstract
ABSTRACT This study aims to describe learning methods, student responses, and student learning motivation in online biology learning during the Covid-19 pandemic in class XII IPA SMA YLPI Pekanbaru, Academic Year 2020/2021. This research is a descriptive method, research data collection begins in February 2020. The research population is all class XII students of SMA YLPI Pekanbaru, Academic Year 2020/2021, with a total sample of 52 students. Data analysis used descriptive analysis. Based on the results of the study, it is known that: (1) the average value of the overall indicators used to determine how students learn in participating in online Biology learning during the Covid 19 pandemic Class XII IPA SMA YLPI Pekanbaru for the Academic Year 2020/2021 is 74.4% which includes in good category; (2) the average value of the overall indicators used to determine student responses in participating in online Biology learning during the Covid 19 pandemic Class XII IPA SMA YLPI Pekanbaru for the 2020/2021 Academic Year was 71.5% which was included in the good category; and (3) the average value of the overall indicators used to determine students' learning motivation in participating in online Biology learning during the Covid 19 pandemic Class XII IPA SMA YLPI Pekanbaru for the 2020/2021 academic year was 62.0% which was included in the good category.
