Abstract

This study aims to determine student interest in learning mathematics at SMAS Dharma Bhakti Mandau. The questions to be answered in this study are: How is the student's interest in learning mathematics at SMAS Dharma Bhakti Mandau. To answer this question, this research uses a quantitative research type using a quantitative approach. The data collection used is a questionnaire. The result of this research is that the interest in terms of overall influencing indicators is in the medium category. Interest in learning in terms of the indicators of curiosity in learning mathematics with a percentage of 64% is categorized as strong. The indicator of interest in mathematics learning material with a percentage of 66% is categorized as strong. For indicators following math learning activities with a percentage of 73% categorized as strong. For indicators like doing individual tasks with a percentage of 75% categorized as strong. For indicators of participation and communication on group work, the percentage of 67% is categorized as strong. And for indicators of readiness and following a math test with a percentage of 73%, it is categorized as strong.
