Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the suitability of accounting application with generally accepted accounting principles at the Lyrics Education Foundation in Lyrics Subdistrict, Indragiri Hulu Regency. The data collected is primary or secondary data. Data collection techniques in this study were through interviews and documentation. After all the data has been collected, then the data is analyzed using descriptive methods, so that it can be seen whether the Lyric Education Foundation applies accounting in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that the accounting application carried out by the Lyric Education Foundation is not in accordance with the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
