Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze work motivation at the Bagan Sinembah District Office, Rokan Hilir Regency. The location in this study was carried out at the Bagan Sinembah Sub-district Office, Rokan Hilir Regency. The population in this study were all 23 employees of the Bagan Sinembah Subdistrict Office, Rokan Hilir Regency. The sample in this study amounted to 23 employees, while the sampling technique used a census. That is, taking the entire population as a sample. The types of data used are qualitative and quantitative data types, while the data sources used are primary and secondary data. For data collection techniques using questionnaires, interviews and documentation, while the data analysis techniques used descriptive quantitative analysis. The results of the study explained that the work motivation of employees at the Bagan Sinembah Sub-district Office, Rokan Hilir Regency was in the good category. This explains that work motivation is very important in an agency, therefore the better the work motivation of employees, the better the performance so that the agency's goals will be achieved. The highest dimension, namely social needs, belongs to the good category. While the lowest dimension, namely physiological needs and actualization needs, belongs to the good category
