Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine and test the differences in efficiency in BUS and UUS for the 2014-2017 period. The sample of this study were 25 companies consisting of 12 Sharia Commercial Banks (BUS) and 13 Sharia Business Units (UUS) consisting of 100 data. The data used in this study are secondary data obtained from the total financing obtained from the relevant BUS and UUS financial statements, total deposits obtained from the BUS and UUS financial statements concerned, operational costs obtained from the BUS and UUS financial statements concerned. other operational costs obtained from the financial statements of the BUS and UUS concerned. Analysis of the data used in the study is Stochastic Frontier Analysis (SFA). Based on the results of the study note that there are results that indicate that the BUS efficiency level of the highest average efficiency in 2014 is equal to 0.707427 while the lowest average efficiency occurs in 2017 that is equal to 0.707422. The results showed that the level of efficiency of UUS the highest average efficiency occurred in 2017 that is equal to 0.536015 while the lowest average efficiency occurred in 2015 which is equal to 0.508488
