Abstract
This research is a research using qualitative descriptive analysis method by approaching the object under study. The formulation of the problem is how to use audio visual media in learning cultural arts (dance offerings) in class X OTKP 2 SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study was to determine how the use of audio visual media in learning cultural arts (offering dance). The subjects of this study were students of class X OTKP 2 and a cultural arts teacher, Fitri Mayang Palupi. The data collection techniques, and documentation techniques. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that the use of audio visual media in learning cultural arts (dance offerings) in class X OTKP 2 SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru is successful and influences children’s behavior in the learning process which makes children more active and the effectiveness in the learning process.
