Abstract
This study aims to describe the implementation of the Adiwiyata program at the State Elementary School 65 Pekanbaru. This research uses a qualitative approach. The method used in this research is observation, interview, and documentation. Analysis of data and research results using the Miles & Huberman model, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The sources of data from this study were teachers, principals, and the head of the Adiwiyata team at the State Elementary School 65 Pekanbaru. In implementing the Adiwiyata program, schools make implementation, contained in environmentally friendly policies, implementing environmental-based curricula, participatory-based environmental activities and managing facilities and infrastructure. In planning the adiwiyata program at SDN 65 Pekanbaru, it contains short-term and long-term policies contained in the RKAS, while in the implementation of the adiwiyata program at SDN 65 Pekanbaru, namely carrying out the plans contained in the RKAS, such as a simple thing to do every morning before entering the class together with students. They both carry out literacy activities together but every Friday students at SDN 65 Pekanbaru read Surah Yasin together followed by the teacher, and every Saturday SDN 65 Pekanbaru students make habituation in the form of gymnastic movements that are carried out in the school field. And don't forget that teachers and school principals evaluate each time after carrying out the adiwiyata program, and what to improve so that the objectives of the adiwiyata program at SDN 65 Pekanbaru run smoothly.
