Abstract

The Development of Mathematics Learning Tools Using The Team Quiz Model On Material Of The-Two Variable Linear Equation System Class VIII Junior High School Meriana Sihotang NPM.166410943 Thesis. Mathematics Education Study Program. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education. Islamic University Of Riau. Supervisor Drs. Abdurrahman, M.Pd ABSTRAK This study aims to produce mathematics learning tools in the form of Learning Implementation Plans (LIP) and Student Activity Sheets (SAS) with the Team Quiz model on the material of a two-variable linear equation system in class VIII Junior High School State 4 Siak Hulu which has been tested for validity. This research on the development of mathematics learning tools uses a 4-D models, namely (1) define, (2) design, (3) development, and (4) disseminate. However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the research was only carried out in 3 stages, namely to the development stage. Data collection techniques used are observation and interviews. The data collection instruments used were the validation instrument for the LIP questionnaire sheet and the SAS questionnaire sheet. The data analysis technique used was validation data analysis from 4 validators consisting of 2 lecturers of mathematics education at Faculty of Teacher Training and Mathematics Education, Islamic University of Riau and 2 mathematics teachers at Junior High School State 4 Siak Hulu. The results of the analysis of research validation by 4 validators obtained an average validation of mathematics learning tools, namely the results of LIP validation 83.35% with a valid validation level and 82.59% SAS analysis results with a valid validation level. The conclusion of the study shows that a mathematics learning device with the Team Quiz model has been obtained on the material of a two-variable linear equation system that has been tested valid.
