Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the learning of Cultural Arts during the Covid-19 period in class X IPA 1 SMA Negeri Sport Riau Province for the 2019/2020 academic year. The school is located at Jalan Yos Sudarso No.103 Rumbai Pesisir, Lembah Damai Village, Rumbai Pesisir District , Pekanbaru City. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. There are 3 data collection techniques taken, namely observation techniques, interview techniques and documentation techniques. The curriculum used by the school is the 2013 Curriculum (K13), the subjects of this study were 22 students of class X IPA 1 and 1 teacher of arts and culture. The results of the study indicate that the learning of arts and culture is not optimal during the Covid-19 period, especially for practical learning. With this learning is carried out online using google classroom, every meeting the teacher informs students through the whatsapp group and provides a link for students to access google classroom, after that the teacher gives material to the students, all recaps of the learning outcomes are input by the teacher into google classroom including student assignments and evaluation results.
