Abstract

Based on observations, many students are not serious in participating in the learning process, are less enthusiastic, lazy, and feel displeased in participating in PJOK learning, do not want to carry out a series of movements during direct practice, the learning method is less attractive. This study aims to determine the interest of class VIII students in participating in PJOK learning at SMPN 10 Tualang. This research is quantitative descriptive. The population in this study amounted to 120 students, so the researchers determined the entire population to be used as a sample. The sampling technique is the total sampling technique. The results of this study indicate that the interest of students in learning PJOK at SMPN 10 Tualang has been carried out very well, with an average of 86,5%.
