Abstract

ABSTRACT THE EFFECT OF ISLAMIC WORK ETHICS ON ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITMENTS AT RIAU ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY HERI PRAYETNO 155210086 This study aims to determine the effect of Islamic work ethics on lecture organizational commitment at the Islamic University of Riau. The research sample amounted to 80 permanent lecture respondents who were selected based on the probability sampling method. This study consist of two variables, namely the Islamic work ethic variable (X) with dimensions of professionalism, diligence, and enthusiasm, result-oriented and maintaining self-esteem,and the variable organizational commitment (Y) with dimensions of affective commitment, normative commitment, and ongoing commitment the data analysis was carried out using statistical product and service solution (SPSS) version 23 with data analysis techniques namely validity testing, reliability testing, and hypothesis testing. Based on the results of the t-test, the calculated t value of 4,288 is greater than the t table value of 0,67765 with the conclusion that H0 is rejected. This means that the Islamic work ethics variable has a significant effect on the lecture organizational commitment at the university of Riau.
