Abstract

Khiyar is a choice that should be made either continuing or canceling the buying and selling transaction. In buying and selling there must be khiyar, the khiyar is stipulated by Islamic law to avoid disputes between the seller and the buyer so that no one feels cheated or harmed in the buying and selling transactions. The aim of this study is to investigate how the implementation of khiyar in buying and selling transactions at the Ulul Albab Sharia Market in Kampar Regency. The conceptual framework of the study is the implementation of Khiyar Majlis, Khiyar A'ib, and Khiyar Syarat in buying and selling transactions at the Ulul Albab Sharia Market in Kampar Regency. The informants of the study are 4 sellers and 4 buyers. The type of the study is qualitative descriptive research. The data collection techniques of the study are observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that the implementation of Khiyar, such as Khiyar Majlis, Khiyar A'ib, and Khiyar Syarat in buying and selling transactions at the Ulul Albab Sharia Market in Kampar Regency have been implemented by most of the sellers and buyers which is in accordance with the Islamic law.
