Abstract

Improving the quality of public services is an effort to improve the quality of public services at each government agency on a regular basis according to the needs and expectations of the community, in providing public services, the government still finds many shortcomings, so that in terms of quality it is still far from what the communicity expects. This is indicated by the emergences of several public complaints through the massa media. This study to find out how the quality of outpatient health services at the mandau general hospital and want to see what are the inhibiting factors in improving the quality of health services at the mandau general hospital. This study uses qualitative research methods by utilizing the services of informant through interview, documentary and observation techniques. The existence of data collection carried out, namely interview with the head od service, nurse, doctor at the mandau hospital general has gone well, all indicators include tangibles,reliability,responsiveness,and emphaty, but to improve the quality it is necssary to have human resources as well as facilities and infrastructure that are in accordance with the needs of the hospital.
