Abstract

This study aims to analyze a business feasibility study at Chips Business in Bintan Regency, Riau Island, in this case the case study conducted by the researcher is the "El-Ridho" Shrimp Chips of Bintan Regency, Riau Island. This research was conducted using quantitative data and purposive site selection. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, questionnaires, observation and documentation. The data analysis used is descriptive statistical analysis and the business feasibility analysis using investment feasibility methods, such as Payback Period (PP), Net Present Value (NPV), Profitability Index (PI) and Internal Rate of Return (IRR). Based on the results of research conducted by looking at the non-financial aspects in the form of marketing aspects, production/operation aspects and management aspects, the "El-Ridho" Shrimp Chips Business is categorized in a good assessment with a recapitulation result of 60%. Meanwhile, for the assessment of financial aspects consisting of Payback Period with result 6 months and 19 days, NPV of Rp. 159,640,026, PI 7.6 and IRR 15.98%, so this business is considered feasible and profitable.
