Abstract
This study is intended to analyze the effect of workload on job satisfaction of temporary employees at the Office of Population and Civil Registration of Siak Regency. The research method used in this research is simple linear analysis and quantitative descriptive, namely collecting data obtained from respondents and then tabulated and analyzed descriptively and quantitatively. The instruments in this study were in the form of questionnaires and interviews with 63 honorary employees of the Siak Regency Population and Civil Registration Office, with the sampling method being random sampling. The results showed that the partial and simultaneous workload had a negative effect on job satisfaction of the employees of the Siak Regency Population and Civil Registration Office. While the value of determination (R2) shows that the job satisfaction variable can be explained by the independent variable, and the rest is explained by other variables that are not included in this study.
