Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of the Community Empowerment Program through the Fish Cultivation Program in Kampung Bar Sentajo Village, Sentajo Raya District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. This research is quantitative and qualitative research with descriptive method. Data collection techniques used in this research are Observation, Interview, Document. Overall research on the implementation of the Community Empowerment Program through the Fish Cultivation Program in Kampung Bar Sentajo Village, Sentajo Raya District, Kuantan Singingi Regency has been going well. This can also be seen from the positive impact felt by the community with the presence of the Fish Cultivation Program in Kampung Bar Sentajo Village, such as increasing community income, improving the community's economy, increasing knowledge and knowledge, and increasing business enthusiasm in the community. fish harvest in the village of Kampung Baru Sentajo is quite promising. However, in the implementation of the program, there are still weaknesses, including not all communities have accepted this program. As well as socialization from the government which has not fully touched every community, besides that budget funds are still limited so that the program is limited to a certain number participants.
