Abstract

STUDENT EFFECTIVENESS IN THE LEARNING PROCESS BIOLOGY BY ONLINE DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC FOR STUDENTS OF SMA N 1 PANGAKALAN KERINCI ACADEMIC YEAR 2020/2021 INTAN LESTARI NPM. 176510646 Skripsi Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi, Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Islam Riau Pembimbing: Dra. Hj. Suryanti, M.Si ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effectiveness of students in the biology learning process by online during the Covid-19 pandemic for students at SMA N 1 Pangkalan Kerinci for the 2020/2021 academic year. This research is a quantitative research. Data was collection wash done with using interviews and through questionnaires. The sample in this study was 144 students, taken from students of class XI IPA 1, XI IPA 2, XI IPA 3, and XI IPA 4. The questionnaire consist of 26 questions. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that the effectiveness of students in the biology learning process during the covid-19 pandemic for students of SMA N 1 Pangkalan Kerinci for the 2020/2021 academic year obtained an average score of 68,04% in the good category. The indicator of the teacher’s ability ro manage learning is in the good category with a percentage is included of 68,38% furthermore, the indicator of student activity in learning is included in the good category with a percentage 0f 61,13%and the indicator of student learning outcomes in learning in the good category too with a percentage of 74,62%.
