Abstract

Taking into account the spread of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) from time to time, in order to accelerate the handling of Covid-19, it is necessary to take fast, precise, focused, integrated, and synergized steps between ministries/agencies and local governments. Based on these considerations, the President of the Republic of Indonesia, who is part of President Joko Widodo, formed the Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-I9), hereinafter referred to in this Presidential Decree as the Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling Covid-19 as the title of the author took, namely the Role of the Task Force. The Task of Coronavirus Disease 2019 to Preventing the Spread of Coronavirus Disease 2019 in Lima Puluh City Districts. Which is the number of cases of Covid-19 in Lima Puluh City and low public awareness to preventing the spread of Covid-19 in Lima Puluh City. The theory used in this research is role theory. Which role is a dynamic aspect of position (status), if a person carries out his rights and obligations according to his position, then he carries out a role. The type of research in writing this thesis is a descriptive qualitative research method in which this research explores and analyzes to provide meaning and meaning in problems solving. This writing consists of primary data, namely research in the form of interviews, documentation, as well as observations and secondary data obtained, namely the results of interviews in the research on the Role of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 Task Force in Preventing the Spread of Coronavirus Disease 2019. The obstacle to this research was socialization that was not carried out thoroughly , people who do not know about the existence of socialization, the level of public awareness is low, sanctions are applied to, community mobility is also still difficult to control. Conclusion The Role of the Task Force Coronavirus Disease 2019 to Preventing the Spread of Coronavirus Disease 2019 in Lima Puluh City Districts found people who did not know about socialization and low public awareness in preventing Covid-19. The suggestion from this research is that the government or the Covid-19 prevention unit can increase public awareness and reduce the spread of Covid-19.
