Abstract

This research was motivated by the lack of optimal management of village information systems in Suka Damai Village, Singingi Hilir District. This study aims to determine: (1) the implementation of Kuantan Singingi Regent Regulation Number 57 of 2017 concerning Village Information Systems in Kuantan Singingi Regency; and (2) determine the inhibiting factors for the implementation of the Kuantan Singingi Regent Regulation Number 57 of 2017 concerning Village Information Systems in Kuantan Singingi Regency. Implementation indicators in this research are: (1) communication; (2) resources; (3) disposition or attitude; and (4) bureaucratic structure. This type of research is qualitative research. Based on the results of the study, the researchers concluded that: (1) The implementation of the Kuantan Singingi Regent Regulation Number 57 of 2017 concerning Village Information Systems in Suka Damai Village has not been supported by good communication and resource factors; and (2) research inhibiting factors in the form of communication factors and resource factors, where the communication factor has not been optimal in socialization related to these regulations, and the resource factor is the need for human resources to manage SID online.
