Abstract

The research entitled Learning Arts and Culture (Theater Arts) Class XI IPS 2 at SMA Negeri 1 Tembilahan Hulu for the Academic Year 2021/2022. The problem of this research is how is the learning of cultural arts (theater art) class XI IPS 2 at SMA Negeri 1 Tembilahan Hulu for the Academic Year 2021/2022? The purpose of this study is to find out the Learning of Cultural Arts (Theater Arts) Class XI IPS 2 at SMA Negeri 1 Tembilahan Hulu for the Academic Year 2021/2022. KKM in learning arts and culture class XI IPS 2 is 70. The theory was used by Oemar Hamalik. This study uses a descriptive analysis method using qualitative data. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation in learning arts and culture. The subjects in this study were one cultural arts teacher and 32 students of class XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri 1 Tembilahan Hulu. The curriculum used in the learning process of cultural arts (theater arts) in class XI IPS 2 is Curriculum 2013 (K13). The syllabus used is already using the equivalent high school syllabus that has been set by the government. The lesson plans used by teachers in learning cultural arts (theater arts) in class XI IPS 2 are under the 2013 curriculum RPP. The learning implementation consists of three stages of activities, namely preliminary activities, core activities, closing activities, and there are 6 meetings. The method of learning cultural arts (theater art) is using the lecture, demonstration, and question and answer method. Evaluation of cultural arts learning outcomes (theater arts) in class XI IPS 2 at SMA Negeri 1 Tembilahan Hulu, there were no students who did not reach the KKM, both in terms of affective, cognitive, and psychomotor evaluation results.
