Abstract

ABSTRACT THE INFLUENCE OF INTERNAL CONTROL AND LEADERSHIP STYLE ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE IN MATERNAL AND CHILD IN PEKANBARU HOSPITAL By: Feni Irawan NPM: 155310598 This study aims to determine the Effect of Internal Control and Leadership Style on Employee Performance in Maternal and Child in Pekanbaru Hospital. The population in this study were all hospital employees in Pekanbaru. By using the Slovin formula, the samples in this study amounted to 88 employees in the financial department. This study uses a questionnaire that has been designed and has been tested for validity and reliability as a data collection tool then analyzed using multiple linear regression techniques and statistical hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that internal control has a positive effect on employee performance. The better internal control, the better the performance of employees at the Mother and Child Hospital in Pekanbaru. And leadership style has a positive effect on employee performance. The better the leadership style, the more employee performance of the Mother and Child Hospital in Pekanbaru will increase. Then the variables of internal control and leadership style simultaneously have a significant effect on the performance of the employees of the Mother and Child Hospital in Pekanbaru. Then the coefficient of determination R Square is 66.6%, which means that the ability of the independent variable to explain the variance of the dependent variable is 66.6%.
