Abstract
ABSTRACT This study aims to determine how the Supervision of the Distribution of Alcoholic Beverages by the Department of Industry and Trade of Pekanbaru City (Study in the Senapelan District of Pekanbaru City). The theory used in this research is the Supervision theory put forward by Siagian, including; Direct supervision, indirect supervision. This type of research is a qualitative type, and the location of the research is in the Senapelan District of Pekanbaru. There were 7 people who were used as informants in this study and to collect and search for data researchers used interviews in this study, after the data were collected and will be analyzed descriptively, in order to get answers about the Supervision of the Distribution of Alcoholic Beverages by the Department of Industry and Trade Pekanbaru City (Study In the Senapelan District of Pekanbaru City). After conducting research and in-depth interviews, the conclusions from the research on the Supervision of the Distribution of Alcoholic Beverages by the Pekanbaru City Industry and Trade Office (Study in the Senapelan District of Pekanbaru City). That is not done well, that is still encountered inhibiting factors such as the existence of places that should not have been given permission or places that do not have permission, apparently still selling alcoholic drinks, in this case because they feel backed up or protected by elements. certain. There is a place of business that is protected by OKP-OKP or local Youth organizations or protected by certain CSOs. The still low level of education of business operators selling alcoholic drinks, especially small businesses such as street vendors, so that their legal awareness is still lacking. There is still a lack of supervisors who oversee the distribution of the liquor, so that there are still many sellers at small stalls selling the drinks.
