Abstract
The object of research is carwash business in the Dumai city. The purpose of this study was to determine the extent to which the suitability of the implementation of accounting conducted in carwash businesses in the city of Dumai with basic accounting concepts. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data, data collection techniques in this study are literature studies, structured interviews, and documentation. If the data has been collected the data is then analyzed using descriptive methods. Based on the results of the research and discussion it can be concluded that the implementation of accounting by carwash entrepreneurs are not in accordance with the basic accounting concepts.
