Abstract
ABSTRACT RENO ALPINDO (2020): Contribution of Arm Muscle Power to Service Ability of Volleyball for Volleyball Extracurricular Students at SMA Negeri 1 Kampar Timur The purpose of this study was to determine the contribution of arm muscle power to the service ability of volleyball in volleyball extracurricular students at SMA Negeri 1 Kampar Regency. This type of research is correlational research. The population in this study The population in this study was the population in the study which was conducted on volleyball extracurricular students at SMA Negeri 1 Kampar Regency as many as 16 male students. The sampling technique was total sampling, thus the number of samples was 16 people. The instruments used were an overhead medicine ball throwing test and a volleyball service test. The data analysis technique is the r test. Based on the results of data analysis and hypothesis testing, it can be concluded that there is a contribution of arm muscle power to the volleyball service ability of volleyball extracurricular students of SMA Negeri 1 Kampar Timur amounting to 26.21% with rcount = 0.512> r table = 0.497.
