Abstract
ABSTRAK SOFIA RAHMA YUNITA, Analysis of Broiler Village Chicken Production in Pekanbaru City. Under the guidanc of Darus, SP.,M.MA Free-range chicken farming is a promising business in the livestock sector. This study aims to (1) analyze the characteristics of breeders and business profiles of native broilers, (2) analyze the use of production factors, production costs, production, income and business efficiency of native broilers and (3) analyze the factors that influence the production of native chickens. broiler in Pekanbaru City. The research method used is a survey method. The research was conducted from February to July 2020. The sample used in this study were broiler breeders who had at least 500 livestock and kept them intensively, amounting to 39 people. The results showed (1) The average age of broiler breeders was 41.51 years, 10.38 years of education, 3.74 years of business experience, and 2.64 dependents. The form of the broiler chicken business is an individual, the scale of the livestock business is a micro business, and the average capital spent is Rp. 41,126,741.10 comes from own capital. (2) The average use of the cage area in the broiler chicken business is 70.28 m2, DOC 628.21 per production period, labor 35.83 HOK per production period, VIVO feed 3.11 359.97 kg per production period , VIVO 5.12 852 kg feed per production period, 306.28 g raid chik per production period, 350 g super fat supplement per production period, and 161.85 ml ND-IB vaccine per production period. The average total production cost of broiler chicken farming is IDR 17,235,592.17 per production period, total production is 632.22 kg per production period with a selling price of IDR 43,000 per kg, gross income IDR 27,185,482.05 per production period and a net income of Rp 9,949,889.88 per production period and an RCR value of 1.53 which illustrates that the broiler chicken farming in Pekanbaru City is profitable and feasible to run. (3) The factors that influence the production of native broilers in Pekanbaru City are the area of the cage, DOC, VIVO 5.12 feed and ND-IB vaccine. This can be seen from the t value of the four variables which is greater than the t table value of 1.69726, namely - respectively (2,336), 15,360, 2,597 and (-2,56). Meanwhile, labor, VIVO 3.11 feed, raid chik and super fat supplements have no effect on the production of native broilers in Pekanbaru City because the t count is smaller than the t table.
