Abstract
The purpose of this study is to explain the effect of compensation and job placement on employee performance. This research was conducted at PT. Alfa Scorpii Desa Gading Sari / Flamboyan Kab. Kampar which is located at Jl. Raya Sei Garo - Psr Flamboyan Kec. Tapung Kab. Kampar. The number of samples taken was 39 people who came from permanent employees of PT.Alfa Scorpii. Multiple Linear Regression was used to analyze the data. Statistical calculations were performed using the SPSS 22.0 windows computer program. From the research results, it can be seen that the compensation variable (X1) has a positive and significant effect on work performance (y). This is determined by the value of t count> t table (9.992> 2.028), and job placement (X2) does not have a positive and significant effect on job performance (Y) with the determined value of t count <t table (0.138 <2.028). Meanwhile, the coefficient of determination was 92.50%.
