Abstract

This study aims to determine the scientific attitude of students in the implementation of biology practicum. The research was done in class VIII SMP Negeri 4 Siak Hulu Kampar Regency academic year 2020/2021 with a sampel of 99 people. This research is a quantitative descriptive research with observation and questionnaire data taking, by observing students' scientific attitude at the time of practicum and by survey questionnaires. Based on the research conducted, the curiosity aspect obtained a percentage of 86.07% with excellent category, the discipline aspect was 84.03% with excellent category, the responsibility aspect was 88.90% with excellent category, the accuracy aspect was 87.02% with excellent category, the cooperation aspect was 89.70% with excellent category, and the self-confident aspect was 85.33% with excellent category. The results of students scientific attitude based on the observation sheets obtained a value of 87.76% with excellent category, and the questionnaires obtained a value of 86,15% with excellent category.
