Abstract

The Prosecutor's Office in this case is represented by a State Attorney acting as based on a Special Power of Attorney (SKK), this is explained in Article 30 Paragraph (2) of Law Number 11 of 2021 concerning Amendments to Law Number 16 of 2004 concerning the Attorney General's Office of the Republic of Indonesia. Indonesia, where the Prosecutor's Office with a Special Power of Attorney can act inside or outside the Court for and on behalf of the State or Government. The main problem in this research is first, regarding how the implementation of the role carried out by the State Attorney as a mediator in carrying out the Recovery of Land Assets between PT. Chevron with the Riau Provincial Government through the Non-Litigation process in the Civil Sector?. And Second, What are the Barriers in the Mediation process to complete Land Asset Recovery between PT. Chevron with the Riau Provincial Government through the Non-Litigation process?. This study uses the Sociological (Empirical) legal research method, which is descriptive analytical by describing or describing the data obtained by survey techniques or interviews. The research location is the State Attorney's Office at the Riau High Court. The results of this study are the role of the State Attorney as a Mediator in carrying out the Recovery of Land Assets in the City of Dumai Antara PT. Chevron with the Riau Provincial Government through a Non-Litigation Process by the Riau High Court in this case consists of the role of the State Attorney at the Riau High Court, the role of the Riau Provincial Government, and the role of PT. Chevron Pacific Indonesia. Obstacles in the Mediation Process to resolve Land Asset Recovery Problems between PT. Chevron Pacific Indonesia and the Riau Provincial Government, occurred due to several factors, namely the factor of the State Attorney at the Riau High Court, the next factor was the Riau Provincial Government, and the PT. Chevron Pacific Indonesia
