Abstract

ABSTRACT Yuanrici Ardepa, 2020: Contribution of arm muscle strength to the results of long service badminton students in the fourth semester of medical education in Riau Islamic Univesity The purpose of this study was to determine the contribution of arm muscle strength of the results of long serving badminton students in the fourth semester of health education in Riau Pekanbaru Islamic University. Population is a region of generelaztion consisting of objects or subjects that have certain qualities and characteristics applied by researchers to be studied conclusion. The population in the study conducted in this study were twenty five people. Samples are objects that represent the population is less than one hundred people, the population can be used as a whole sample of tenty five peple. Based on the calculation results obtained a large value of the contribution of arm muscle strength to the results of serving badminton length number is obtained, then tested the hypothesis wheather there is a correlation between arn muscle strength and the resultsbof long serving badminton students in the fourth semester of Islamic University Riau Pekanbaru University. Where obtained found r arithmetic 0,624. At a significant level of five percent r table 0,413, thus r count large from r table or 0,624 large than 0,414. Test significantly by using a significant tes t. then it can be concluded that: there is a contribution of arm muscle strength to the results of long serving badminton students in the fourth semester of education and training in the Islamic University Of Pekanbaru.
